NY Nurses United for Quality Care is a community of nurses from across the state dedicated to raising the standards of patient care by implementing safe nurse-to-patient staffing ratios and improving health and safety on the job. We are a project of the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA), growing out of our efforts to pass safe staffing legislation. Safe staffing is an issue that affects all nurses, not only NYSNA members, and we need all nurses advocating together as a unified front in order to win.
